This room perfectly embodies the soul of our B&B: straw.
The walls are made entirely from straw bales, carefully plastered with natural clay and straw. Reclaimed wood adds warmth and character, featured in the bathroom partition wall, the floors, and the handcrafted furnishings — from the wardrobe to other unique pieces inspired by past restoration work.

The clay plaster acts as a natural hygrometer, gently balancing indoor humidity in this breathable straw-bale house — absorbing excess moisture or releasing it when the air is too dry.

The bathroom and shower are finished in cocciopesto, an ancient Roman technique used to waterproof surfaces, giving the space a timeless, earthy elegance.
